As you use a browser to search information, visit websites, and share information with others, when you use these function, for example, typing a keyword and see related information on the internet via WebShuttle , we collect information from you in order to provide corresponding service and better user experience to you. When participating in WebShuttle user experience improvement program, as appropriate, your usage, statistics, input while using WebShuttle, and crash reports would be collected.

What app permissions are requested by WebShuttle and what they are used for
Check the state of your network connection
Detects whether the user’s network is available and whether it is wifi or mobile data traffic, and gives the user alerts when they are downloading files.
Read and write to the phone’s external storage
Downloading files and caching resource data all require reading and writing to external phone storage. However, it is limited to the browser’s private directory and public download and media directories.

Some specific web applications require user location information, such as maps, weather forecasts, etc. The browser itself does not obtain and store the user’s location information.
VPN (VpnService)
WebShuttle includes an optional system-level VPN. When you turn it on, the app creates a secure, encrypted tunnel for your internet traffic and hides your real IP address. Because it is a system-level VPN, traffic from other apps on your device may also be routed through the tunnel while the VPN is active. The VPN only runs when you enable it, and you can disconnect at any time.
VPN Service
WebShuttle offers an optional VPN (Virtual Private Network) feature. When you enable the VPN, your internet traffic is encrypted and routed through our secure servers.
What we do NOT collect or log
- We do not require you to create an account or log in to use the VPN.
- We do not collect device identifiers or personal information in order to use the VPN.
- We do not record your browsing history or the websites you visit.
- We do not inspect, store, or sell the content of your traffic.
- We do not keep connection logs or DNS query logs tied to your identity.
- We do not build an advertising profile based on your VPN activity.
- We do not inject ads into, redirect, or modify your internet traffic.
Free VPN traffic via rewarded ads
WebShuttle offers free VPN traffic that you can earn by watching short rewarded videos. These ads are delivered by third-party advertising networks (for example, Google AdMob), which operate under their own privacy policies and may collect device identifiers and ad-interaction data on your device. Your traffic quota is tracked entirely on your device; we do not receive or store this information on our servers.
Third parties involved in the VPN
- VPN infrastructure/hosting providers, who process encrypted traffic only on a no-log basis.
- Advertising networks that serve the rewarded videos.
Your control
The VPN is optional and off by default. You can disconnect at any time; the browser continues to work normally without the VPN.
We are committed to a strict no-logs policy for VPN traffic and will never use the VPN to track you, sell your data, or interfere with your traffic.
What information do we collect?
We collect information to improve our application and provide better services to all of our users - including:
the information you give us, for example, when you give us your opinions to our application and services via our feedback channel;
the information we get from your use of our application and services, like the keywords you type in our application to search, the websites link you input, click, interact, and trigger from any application in your device;
log information, the application events such as version, installed date and time, usages statistics, crashes event, and dump reports of our application;
location information, the MCC (mobile country code);
device information, such as your hardware model, android ID, and operation system version);
We do not collect your personal identifiable information when you using our product, such as name, phone number,physical address.

The VPN feature uses third-party advertising networks to serve the rewarded videos that give you free traffic. These networks operate under their own privacy policies. We do not share your browsing data with anyone, and no browsing data is ever sold.
Security
We are very concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We do not collect Personal Information, and we employ administrative, physical and electronic measures designed to protect your Non-Personal Information from unauthorized access and use. Please be aware that no security measures that we take to protect your information is absolutely guaranteed to avoid unauthorized access or use of your Non-Personal Information which is impenetrable.
Sensitive Information
We ask that you not send us, and you not disclose, any sensitive Personal Information (e.g., information related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, sexual orientation, criminal background or membership in past organizations, including trade union memberships) on or through an Application, the Services or the Site or otherwise to us.
Children
We do not provide service focus on Children. If you are under 13, you may use our website when you are with a parent or guardian.
